Meet Dr. Dakin

Dr. Rob Dakin is a General Dentist in Wichita, Kansas, USA, where he lives with his wife of 42 years, Karen. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wichita State University, and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, and named as a leading dentist in the Leading Physicians of the World publication in 2012. The American Dental Association has recognized him for his work in foreign lands. He is a past the President of the Wichita District Dental Society, and the recipient of the 2016-2017 Dentist of the Year Award within his society. He has consistently been named one of the Top Dentist in Wichita for the past nine years. He serves on the Executive Board for the Kansas Dental Association as Vice President, and on the Board of Directors for GraceMed, and is an Elder in his church. His passion to serve God with his profession, has led him to make his practice of dentistry Christ-centered. He has set up clinics for earthquake relief in Turkey, set up clinics in villages and orphanages in Albania, Kazakhstan, and Liberia. Dr. Dakin has been privileged to be part of the establishment of full-time, permanent healthcare in the Mathare Valley slum in Nairobi, Kenya. He has also met with the Deputy Minister of Health in Fiji to discuss healthcare needs in Fiji. He also set up the first dental clinic among a people group in northeast Kenya by invitation of thier tribal king.
